Unable to "Link to Existing Item"
Hi there,
I've downloaded Blend with Visual Studio 2017 Community and going through the Unity tutorial here https://www.noesisengine.com/docs/Gui.C ... unity.html
One of the suggestions was to link to the samples to get up and running (and so you don't have to have the files duplicated). Unfortunately there isn't an option to link anymore and Blend forces copying of the files to the project folder. Are there any workarounds for this as I would like to keep the .xml files in the Unity assets folder.

Managed to solve my own problem. In later visual studio's they changed it to "Add Existing Item" and after you select a file, you can press a drop down on the "Add" button to change it to "Add As Link". This is still annoying as you have to re-create folder paths etc.

Hi, with latest versions of Blend there is an alternative. This is still annoying as you have to re-create folder paths etc.
Instead of recreating the same folder structure and link files, you can create the Blend project next to Unity Assets folder and use the option "Show All Files" in the project. Then you can just right click the desired files and "Include In Project".
We are following that technique in our tutorial samples here: https://github.com/Noesis/Tutorials/tree/master/Samples
