Re: Drawing Brush Alternative

Wow. That is pretty incredible. I had no idea this was possible using SpreadMode. Is there a performance trade-off between using Slider vs ProgressBar vs Rectangle vs Border if I anticipate the width updating every frame?

Thank you!

Re: Disable Runtime XAML Reload

In 3.0.X, I could modify XAML and it would not affect my running game. In 3.1.x, changing any XAML file during Unity playback causes the runtime XAML to reload, which invalidates invariant state owned by the control. This then causes exceptions and errors which did not occur in 3.0.X.

Disable Runtime XAML Reload

How do I disable runtime reloading of XAML screens and resources while Unity playback is enabled? i.e. if I change a color in an XAML resources file, I *do not* want Noesis to reload screens.

Drawing Brush Alternative

I am attempting to create a brush that has segmentation.

e.g.

At first, I tried DrawingBrush but I see that is not yet supported. What would be a good alternative, which I may apply to either a rectangle or progressbar (either is fine)?

Re: Noesis vs .NET MAUI

I appreciate your response. This all makes sense and is very exciting to hear! I am particularly excited to use a Noesis editor -- this will be hugely beneficial for my workflows.

Re: CompositeTrasnform3D Behavior

I was able to achieve the desired behavior through the following:
Matrix3D rotation = Matrix3D.Identity;
Transform3D = new MatrixTransform3D(rotation.RotateY(-5));
This is resolved for me now -- this seemed to be an easier approach. Not sure why the above behaves the way it does, however.

CompositeTransform3D Behavior

Out of curiosity, why are elements in the top stack rotated differently compared to the elements in the bottom stack panel? (it is a cut and paste of the same XAML). Even if CompositeTrasnform3D coordinates are global, would the result look like this? https://i.imgur.com/pszlcX5.png <Grid xmlns="htt...

Noesis vs .NET MAUI

I'm very pleased with Noesis. It has unlocked cross-platform reach for my development and has brought incredible capabilities to Unity. Now that Microsoft has stabilized .NET Multi-platform App UI (.NET MAUI) -- a decade to bring XAML to other platforms after the demise of Silverlight -- how does th...
