Re: Showing downloaded / web images

That sounds great, if RichText will support basic html and images that would be wonderful. The implementation is going to be relatively basic, as that's something not part of core. We don't have that by default. I think the best approach for doing this is implementing your own texture provider and then handl...

Re: Update Draw from views

Views are heavy objects. We don't recommend having two views for the same render. If you have a single view with a named root for example, you can dynamically add and remove controls.

If you give us more context about your scenario we can help you more.

Re: Resource lookup process in Unity

I definitely agree that each View should have a resource dictionary merged when the View is loaded. We need to find a mechanism to properly solve this, because as Sergio said, right now, each XAML is independently imported and checked against errors. We could, for example, avoid parsing XAMLs at edi...

Re: Out-of-focus window render

DisplayLauncher exposes a virtual function for that purpose: virtual bool GetRunInBackgroundOverride() const; It is implemented by default to read from the command line but you can reimplement it on you AppLauncher . bool DisplayLauncher::GetRunInBackgroundOverride() const { return GetArguments().H...
