Re: Noesis GUI in business application

Now I'm trying to reference the Noesis library in iOS project, but I always get System.DllNotFoundException: Noesis . The iOS uses static linking. So I have added NoesisGUI-ManagedSDK-2.0.0f1\Lib\ios\ libNoesis.a library to Native References inside the iOS project. In the properties for this library...

Re: Extended Resource Providers application crash

Yes you are right. I has creating new instance of resource provider before Noesis.GUI.Init();. When I create the resource provider after initialization it does not crash.
I have created new ticket for the issue when you create resource provider before initialization.

Re: Noesis GUI in business application

I have now solution for including the correct library in the application package (AppX folder). In short you need to modify .csproj file and add Link to the library with $(Platform) macro in the path: <ItemGroup> <Content Include="..\ExternalReferences\NoesisGUI\uwp_$(Platform)\Noesis.dll"> <Link>No...

Re: Noesis GUI in business application

This will work if you need to include only one architecture version of the library. But I need to include all three versions (ARM, x86, x64). When I place them in separate directories, the application will not be able to load them, because they will not be in the root folder.

Re: Noesis GUI in business application

I'm trying it in the desktop. The problem is with deploying. The deploy does not copy the dll into the AppX folder. When I copy the dll there, It does work as expected. I have posted question on Stack Overflow, but I have no solution yet. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/43362734/include-architect...

Extended Resource Providers application crash

I'm using the managed SDK. In my Android project I'm trying to extend the XamlProvider, TextureProvider and FontProvider. The problem is that when I create new instance of the extended class, the application crashes without throwing any exception. The last Debug output is Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV), ...

Re: Noesis GUI in business application

Hello sfernandez. I have successfully created and build the Universal Windows Class Library. To verify the functionality I have tried to call Noesis.GUI.Init(); but I got the System.DllNotFoundException Unable to load DLL 'Noesis': The specified module could not be found. Re: Noesis GUI in business application

I’m starting to experiment with the Managed SDK, but I cannot reference the NoesisManaged.dll library in my UWP project. The problem is that it targets the full .NETFramework, while the UWP targets only .NETCore. I could reference the library if it would target .NETPortable or .NETStandard. The .NET...

Re: Noesis GUI in business application

Thank you for your answers.
Roughly when do you think you will have samples or documentation for Xamarin integration? Because I don’t have any experience in this area, and I don’t know if I could figure it all out by myself.
