Unity Mac can't get it working

29 Aug 2018, 17:34

Hi, when I try to start any of the scenes in the unity package on Unity 2017 or 2018 using the v2.1.0f1 I don't see any preview in scene mode, and in game mode I just get a black screen. Any suggestions? Did I miss a step? I've just done a straightforward creation of a new unity project and then immediately imported the Noesis package and none of the sample scenes work. I'd love to get this working as if Noesis works it would be the answer to a prayer for a cross platform GUI :)

I'm sorry if this has already have been answered in the forum, but I can't search on the term "mac" (it's too short).

Make sure you are not using Metal renderer, it is not supported yet (only iOS does support that renderer in 2.1)

Thanks for the feedback! Metal renderer for macOS is coming in 2.2.
