C# - CryEngine?

14 Oct 2019, 00:52

Cryengine still uses an old form of Scaleform. A few devs have wanted to use Noesis Gui as their solution, including me.
Cryengine supports C++ workflows, but I chose the C# side. From NuGet I installed Noesis.Gui. Installed fine. Tried Noesis.App and im getting a .NET Framework 4.5.2 missing error. Cryengine uses Mono so I don't know if there is a way to get this working without needing to touch C++ code. Originally I downloaded the C# SDK but had no idea how to use that and seemed to only contain examples and docs, so I resorted to NuGet.
Or maybe this would require a plugin? No idea.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I know nothing about CryEngine but it seems to me that you should be using the C++ SDK, I don't know.

Regarding C#, if you download the SDK from our webpage, it should automatically download the Nugets for you and all samples should be compiling and working. Is it not the case?
