l have a ListBox to display image, and 2MB per image. When xaml is loading, the UI Thread will block.

The attribute IsAsync is not implemented. In the next major version we have implemented hot-reloading of resources. That feature can be also used for loading resources in the background. Could you please open a ticket about it? Thanks
