LocExtension and Preview
Hello,
I was following along with these instructions:
https://www.noesisengine.com/docs/Gui.C ... orial.html
I was trying to get the "first" part of Loc Extension working - namely, making a "Language_en-us.xaml" resource dictionary with strings in it, and then using noesis:Loc to lookup those strings.
I have basically copied the example out of the page above, but when I view my TextBlock elements, they don't have any text in them when viewing in the designer in Blend for Visual Studio.
Have I misconfigured something? Or does the extension not work in designer view?
thanks,
sam

Re: LocExtension and Preview
Quick update: I tested this in game, and the loc extension seems to be working there, so I'm wondering if this is just a design time issue.
Is it possible to have the lookups work in design time? If not, are there suggestion for how to work in the Blend designer so you can actually see the text when designing but have it localized in game?
thanks,
sam

Re: LocExtension and Preview
Hi Sam,
LocExtension was not working at design time in Blend, however I have added this functionality and will release an updated Noesis.GUI.Extesions nuget package later today. Our sample projects target the latest minor package version, if you are using your own project you may need to update the package in our Nuget manager.
Once you have this updated package you should see the localized text, based on the current Loc.Source property, in Blend designer.
Thanks,
Mark

Re: LocExtension and Preview
This is already available in Noesis.GUI.Extensions 3.0.21
