The window was maximized by double clicking the title bar.
Using the maximize button, everything is fine.

OS: Windows 8.1 with Update

BTW minimize by double clicking title bar (after maximized) is fine, no exception thrown.

I have tried in Windows 8.1 and it is working fine here.

Could you please file a bug and attach log and dump?
