Unity 5 plan

Well I'm at the point where all my other third party assets have supported unity 5. Just curious what the plan is and when I could expect you guys to support it.

Yes, there is an imminent plan for supporting Unity5 in v1.2. Right now, we are working to release a new beta with many problems solved and new platform added (windows phone, linux and osx). In the next beta we expect to release all the platforms supported and probably that will be the point where we will start to work with Unity5.

MegaWars is being written in V5, let me know when you have something to test.

Will you be able to support Win, Mac, Linux, iOs, winphone and android at that time?

Also, do you have a link to the game website? I am curious about it.

I posted a developer update today with a video of the system.

I have about 14 dialogs to build, they all need user controls - that is the worst thing about unity pre-fabs can only be one level deep.

I did not see any version notes for 1.2 beta7 are you getting close to V5 support?

Hi David,

This is what we have in our plan regarding Unity:
  • Add iOS and Android to NoesisGUI v1.2 Beta (Unity 4.x) (note: wphone81 is already released)
  • Add support for iOS64 (Unity 4.6). This could happen at the same time as the previous point.
  • Release a Builder 64 bits that is compatible with NoesisGUI v1.2 and can be used in Unity5. This is the first step towards Unity5 compatibility. We are releasing this to get feedback and help from our users.
  • Compatibility with Unity5
If you want to help us, best thing you can do right now is start using NoesisGUI v1.2 and report all the problems you see.

First Error and I get it many times:

Multiple plugins with the same name 'noesis' (found at 'Assets/Editor/NoesisGUI/BuildTool/Noesis.dll' and 'Assets/Plugins/x86_64/Noesis.dll'). That means one or more plugins are set to be compatible with Editor. Only one plugin at the time can be used by Editor.

I confirmed there are two Noesis.dll's I just searched the forums for 'Multiple plugins' with no results...

I am stuck, not sure if I should delete the one in the BuildTool or not...
