GetRoot() missing?

I am following the video tutorial, all is OK and have a working interface.
However, when adding a script, it seems some methods cannot be found (but classes are there!).
The attached image shows the error i get in red, both in Visual Studio and Unity console.
(in particular it seems GetRoot() doesn't exist?!?).
If i open the base class file under the Noesis asset folder, the methods are effectively missing from the class.

I am using trial version 1.2.3 on Unity 5.0.2f1 (Windows).

Any help?

Hi!

It seems that you are following the Touch tutorial. That tutorial is one of the few ones that is yet not updated to NoesisGUI 1.2. There is a sample in the Unity package, Touch sample, that contains the correct code. Please have a look at it and tell me if you find more troubles.

By the way, the tutorial is being updated in the imminent 1.2.4 (with a few minor changes in the Manipulation API to be more compliant with WPF).

Thanks!

Thank you,

Sorry if the question is dumber than the first one: how do i activate the samples contained in the package?

Don't worry about asking anything! : )

Yes, there is a scene (.unity) for each sample in the Assets/NoesisGUI/Samples directory.
