DLL Violation

13 Aug 2013, 02:22

So yeah, I recently have made the purchase of the said plugin. I then import it via Asset Store into a default Unity Project and basically get this:

Exception: C:/Users/scott_000/Documents/New Unity Project/Assets/Editor/NoesisGUI/BuildTool/Noesis.dll not unloaded
Noesis.Library.Dispose () (at Assets/Plugins/NoesisGUI/Scripts/Core/NoesisLibrary.cs:77)

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

Hi,

Are you using Windows 8? We fixed a problem related to this, the patch will be included in v1.0.2 (to be released this friday) but I am going to send you an email with a link to a preview.

Thanks!

Heya

(Nice quick response btw). Yes I'm using Windows 8 and was starting suspect it was becoming a Win8 issue.

I did notice it was working fine on a home PC but on my work PC (both win8.1) they seemed to have bottomed out.

If i could grab an early snapshot of the patch that'd be great as i'd be more than happy to beta test its release for you.

In case others are following this thread. Problem has been resolved in next patch. Kudos to Jesús for the patch... and that sounded very religious in a interesting way ;) as I was even tempted to write "Jesús to the rescue" :D
