Unity flagging a named UIElement as not existing

Unfortunately, I won't be able to show exact code for this, but it's pretty simple to describe.

I have a Combobox that is named. It looks similar to this:
<ComboBox x:Name="AwesomeDropdown" Grid.Row="16"> </ComboBox>
I am then setting the ItemsSource of that ComboBox in CodeBehind. The issue is that Unity is throwing "The name "AwesomeDropdown" does not exist in the current context."

This is in a View and I already have several toggles working with associated properties. Any idea on how to solve this issue?
