Hi Friends,

Does the Menu3D sample code need Windows Runtime (WinRT)?
Or the Noesis sample **requires `/ZW` for WinRT**?

thanks

Our samples work in all platforms supported by Noesis. The Menu3D is available as a native Win32 application and also as as WinRT. You can find all solutions and projects in the SDK.

Your Win32 sample within "NoesisGUI-NativeSDK-win-3.2.4-Indie\Src\Projects\Menu3D\windows_x86" can NOT run on my X64 Development PC, but our large legacy Win32 Game can run on my X64 Development PC.

And now we want to integrate your Win32 Menu3D sample into our large legacy game but failed.

How do we tackle that?

thanks

I’m sorry, but I’ll need more information beyond just 'cannot run' or 'failed' to assist you effectively.

Sorry, my fault. I should have explained it clearly :)
Our large Legacy Win32 Game can be opened by VS Studio 2022 and run successfully via the following Settings :
1. " Solution Configuration " set to " Chinese "
2. " Solution Platform " set to " Win32"
The above 2 settings are on the upper-left of VS studio and just under the Menus of Project(P), Build(B) and Debug(D), you know.
My Development PC is Windows 10, Win 64, X64.

But Your Win32 sample within "NoesisGUI-NativeSDK-win-3.2.4-Indie\Src\Projects\Menu3D\windows_x86" can NOT run on my X64 Development PC as above settings.
I hope your Menu3D\windows_x86 samples can run as above settings first so that I can integrate it into Our large Legacy Win32 Game.

Thanks!

Have you tried opening one of the following solutions in the ${ROOT_SDK}/Build folder?
  • NoesisGUI-win-x86_64-vs2022.sln (for 64 bits)
  • NoesisGUI-win-x86-vs2022.sln (for 32 bits)
These solutions build all samples.
