Render target becomes blank after resizing the window

Hi,

I've been working on a small UI-heavy project with NoesisGUI and ran into an issue that only seems to appear after the application window is resized.

The UI renders normally when the application starts, and I can interact with all the controls without any problems. However, if I resize the window several times, the render target eventually becomes completely blank. The application itself is still running and receiving input, but none of the Noesis UI is visible.

What makes this a little confusing is that the issue doesn't happen immediately. A single resize usually works fine, but after around 5–10 consecutive resizes, the UI may disappear. Switching focus to another window and back does not restore it.

I've already checked that the view is still attached and that the window dimensions being passed to the rendering layer are correct. I also tried forcing another layout update after the resize, but that didn't make a difference. Restarting the application is the only reliable way I've found to get the UI back.

I'm currently using the latest NoesisGUI version available from the website. The project uses a fairly simple UI with a few grids, images, buttons, and text elements, so I don't think the visual tree itself is particularly complex.

Has anyone experienced Noesis content disappearing after repeated window resizing? I'm mainly wondering whether there is a recommended way to recreate or refresh the render target when the window size changes, or if there is something specific I should check in my rendering integration.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Are you able to reproduce this in our samples?

Without knowing more details about your integration (platform, renderer), it’s hard to make a guess.
