[Unity] Lots of crashes

Hi,

I just wanted to know whether there is any other person who experiences frequent crashes after stopping the Player within the Unity Editor v5.1 (even the new patch doesn't fix it). It happens at least every second if not every time I stop the editor.

The 'fault modules' range from StackHash, ntdll.dll, Noesis_64.dll_unloaded, Unity.dll, etc.

And it starts to get really annoying. So, is there anyone and if so, were you able to fix it?

Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: I should probably mention that this is somehow related to NoesisGUI (unloading?) as it doesn't happen in scenes where no NoesisGuiPanel is used.

Okay, I've figured it out. First I thought it was my drag&drop behavior but no, it was a much simpler thing.

I created a ObservableCollection<string> in my ViewModel, added some values to it and bound it to a ListBox. Yep, it's only that.

During my tests I changed the TemplateParameter of the ObservableCollection from string to a custom class that has a string as a property. Well, that did it. No crashes since changing it.

What kind of crashes did you get? Does Unity close after the crash or are you able to continue working with the Editor after the crash?

We are very interested in fixing this problem, so thanks for the investigation that led you to find the source of the problem. We will try to fix it as soon as possible.

It crashed the whole Unity Editor so I had to restart the editor each time.

If you create a ticket in our bugtracker, we can provide you a patch when the problem with collections of strings is fixed. And we can verify that the crashes in the Unity Editor are solved too.
