[Unity] DPI Scaling

Hi,
I'm currently in the final stage of my project (targeted at mobiles for now) and part of that is 'implementing' my artist's design. Up until now I had various definition resource dictionaries that were loaded depending on the DPI. Now I'm wondering whether simplify this a bit more.
And just to be clear, the problem is not the general layout because I can easily do that with the relative layout that XAML allows. The problem are things like little spaces between two TabItem-Headers, the border thickness of a button, the font-size, etc.
But now I was wondering whether I could either apply a 'global' layout scale transform (tested it, doesn't work
) or use a Converter and apply the appropriate factor.
Do you have any other ideas? What is the right approach to this problem? Any help would be really appreciated.
