ENABLE_BITCODE (ios)

Hi guys, any idea about how to solve this in ios?

thanks!
ld: '/Users/Jose/Desktop/IOS/LibrariesPlugins/iOS/libNoesis.a(libNoesis.a-arm64-master.o)' does not contain bitcode. You must rebuild it with bitcode enabled (Xcode setting ENABLE_BITCODE), obtain an updated library from the vendor, or disable bitcode for this target. for architecture arm64

clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Ok I found it, I just set Enable Bitcode as "no" in Xcode, but it may be interesting to have the option..

I tried enabling BitCode a weeks ago and the increase of the binary size was so huge that we decided to leave it disabled by now. In fact, Unity is doing the same. I think that while Apple Store does not require it, we can have it disabled (although it is mandatory in AppleTV).

So disabled for now, to be activated in the future.

I ran into this too. Might be nice to put in the Unity/iOS docs section.

In fact, in the last version of Unity, BitCode is enabled by default. I have added a task in Trello for it. Let's see if we can have it for 1.2.6.

We will also document it properly.

Thanks for the feedback!

Now that we're also aiming at AppleTV, is there a rough estimate when you will have it ready? :)

Please, file a ticket about it. We will try to provide an unofficial build there. Although no promises about when. : )
