Re: Resolving Binding for Dependency Property Returns Empty String
Hello! Thank you for your reply! It made me realize that there must be some other code which is preventing the binding from happening correctly and this made me realize that InputActionGlyph also has a model. The correct binding is actually: Action="{Binding DataContext.MyActionName, ElementNam...

Resolving Binding for Dependency Property Returns Empty String
Hello! I have a Dependency Property on a custom user control and I am trying to set the value using a Binding. The string is correctly saved to the DataContext but the value of the Dependency Property returned by GetValue() in `OnLoaded` is an empty string. The issue seems to be with how the depende...

Re: Sending RoutedEvent from Code Behind for Custom UserControl
That was the issue! I was trying both ways but because of unrelated issues, noesis:SetFocusAction was not behaving as expected and I misidentified the problem.

Sending RoutedEvent from Code Behind for Custom UserControl
Hello! I have a custom user control defined as `MyScreen` with the the following RoutedEvent `InitialFocus`. I am struggling to set up the EventTrigger in XAML to successfully catch this routed event. What might be going wrong? Is this behavior supported? public partial class MyScreen: UserControl {...

Re: Saving and Setting Focused Element On UserControl Reload
I was able to find a work around for the original issue but I am still struggling to get FocusManager.IsFocusScope to work as expected. I started a separate thread which directly addresses this viewtopic.php?p=18000#p18000

Re: FocusManager Focus Scope For Tab Control
I am doing my best to follow along with what the site is suggesting but I am still having trouble getting focus to be stored on individual tabs. The issue seems to be that UIElement references become invalid after tabs change and so we never successfully set focus when we return to the tab. Is there...

FocusManager Focus Scope For Tab Control
Is it possible to use FocusManager.IsFocusScope="True" to manage focus on separate tabs of a tab control? Ideally, each tab would remember which element most recently had focus and return focus to this element when the tab is visible again. Testing locally, focus doesn't seem to be updatin...

Re: Saving and Setting Focused Element On UserControl Reload
I was able to resolve the original issue that I was having. There were actually a few other things going on that were causing focus to behave incorrectly. The main thing was that the items of the itemscontrol were being updated and this would cause the itemscontrol to update and (I think) regenerate...

Saving and Setting Focused Element On UserControl Reload
I have two screens, one of which serves as a "pop-up" temporarily taking focus away from the first screen. When the first screen is reloaded I want to set focus to whatever element was last focused before the pop-up screen came up. Is there a way to save which UIElement is focused and then...
