Re: How to make a custom TriggerAction
Alright awesome, that was what I was missing (plus calling the NsRegisterReflection and NsInitPackage functions for App + Interactivity). For anyone else that ends up in the same situation. If you've followed the integration guide/sample and have Noesis running, the last step that is needed is to re...

Re: How to make a custom TriggerAction
Hi jsantos, thanks for taking the time to reply! I'm trying to integrate with Noesis without using the App Framework since I would like to maintain control over windows. I've been trying to use the samples as a reference but I run into blockers that I assume means I've missed some implementation ste...

Re: How to make a custom TriggerAction
I've also tried using the example from the Samples with PlaySoundAction <Page xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:b="http://schemas.microsoft.com/xaml/behaviors" xmlns:local="clr-namespace:eng" Width="400" Height="200&q...

How to make a custom TriggerAction
Hi there, I've been trying to get a trigger action working without success. (Custom Engine in C++, version 3.2.8-indie) Using the samples as a reference I need to 1. Create a custom class that inherits from `NoesisApp::TriggerActionT<Noesis::DependencyObject>` 2. Implement the reflection in the .h a...

Re: Only installed fonts will work in Noesis Studio
Hi Dorian,
Thanks for the reply!
I'm not sure exactly where things went wrong with what I was trying before, but I just made a fresh project and did everything through studio and it is detecting the font correctly.
If it happens again I'll post again with better repo steps.
Regards,
Nick

Only installed fonts will work in Noesis Studio
v0.1.227-beta I'm having issues that a font will not work in Noesis Studio unless I install the font on the PC. I have the following textblock that will fail to use the font. <TextBlock Text="TextBlock" TextWrapping="Wrap" FontFamily="D:/Projects/C++/ZEngine/Assets/UI/Fonts/...

Re: Help getting started with C++
Ah I now see that on each of the files inside the project you've setup a custom build tool to do the conversion and inside those files (once converted) is where the App_xaml and MainWindow_xaml are defined. Thank you for you direction.

Help getting started with C++
I'm trying to get started with Noesis and making an application and I've loaded up the HelloWorld example source and two things jumped out at me that I didn't understand how they work. 1. #include "App.xaml.bin.h" ^ this file doesn't exist and gives compile errors, is it referring to App.x...

Re: Unable to "Link to Existing Item"
Managed to solve my own problem. In later visual studio's they changed it to "Add Existing Item" and after you select a file, you can press a drop down on the "Add" button to change it to "Add As Link". This is still annoying as you have to re-create folder paths etc.
