Re: in Xaml, Behaviors are searched for in the namespace NoesisApp, but registered in an anonymous namespace

It's looking for the reflection type id, not the class namespace.

Change
NsMeta<TypeId>("MouseWheelBehavior");
to
NsMeta<TypeId>("NoesisApp.MouseWheelBehavior");

Controlling the framerate of Noesis?

Hi, I've moved this over from the bug tracker for the benefit of a wider discussion. 1) What framerate does Noesis typically target, and how is this determined? Does it automatically match the framerate of the engine (e.g. Unity)? I understand in WPF the framerate is dynamic, varying between 0 and a...

Re: Is Noesis still under active development?

Unkown, the roadmap is dead, bug reports seem to have had no movement on them for months, but the devs are present on the forum.

Re: Gamepad icons in text

This is possible using inlines, which are supported, but non-text elements require WPF's InlineUIContainer, which isn't supported. Having the buttons as font glyphs may provide the most flexibility for you in terms of localisation and compatibility of text rendering. Since it's only a single line of...

Re: How to Convert WPF Application to NoesisGUI

Noesis is effectively a drop in replacement for WPF. Avalonia is WPF inspired, but it's not WPF really. Integration of Noesis really depends on what you want to integrate it into. Native or managed? Do you intend to integrate into an engine? You can read more about that here http://www.noesisengine....

Re: Noesis Questions

One of the Noesis guys will likely respond in a bit but in the mean time... 1 + 2) Are you using Noesis types instead of WPF types? You'll get all sorts of problems if you try to use a WPF UserControl in Noesis, for example. 3) If it's a styling thing, Noesis has its own default styles for controls ...

Re: MonoGame: switching between views

Generally for a menu, 1 depth level is 1 view. So your root buttons will all reside in a single view, and then as you drill down, you switch to more relevant views. There's all sorts of approaches to this, and the choice comes down to how you feel it should be tackled for the project, rather than wh...

Re: MonoGame: switching between views

Them being outside the game project doesn't change anything. All the paths are relative to the xaml file's location, e.g. you can step up a directory by leading the path with ../, so this is unaffected as long as your xaml files are always relative to each other. And the namespaces you use in the xa...

Re: MonoGame: switching between views

No need for Noesis in Blend, it's completely WPF at that point. Just figure out a good overall logical structure for your project in the grand scheme of things, and ensure your project files play nice with it. You'd have your various project files living in Root, and then you'd either pick and choos...

Re: MonoGame: switching between views

The xaml files shouldn't be built by your game project because Visual Studio only interprets them in the context of WPF. They really do need to be worked on separately in Blend. There's all sorts of approaches you can take to this, for sure you could go into the project file, remove the DependentUpo...
