Re: Integration with Unity / Blend Project
I did eventually try something like <ItemGroup> <Compile Include="Assets\NoesisUI\**\*.cs" /> <Compile Update="Assets\**\*.xaml.cs"> <DependentUpon>%(Filename)</DependentUpon> <SubType>Code</SubType> </Compile> </ItemGroup> <ItemGroup> <Page Include="Assets\**\*.xaml"> ...

Re: Image Binding to Texture Source
I mean it's totally fair - WPF was not very efficient haha. I've just done a lot of XAML development, so I'm trying to reconcile what I expect from XAML vs what's required for game performance. That's why I wasn't even suggesting a change really, just documentation and messaging. I'm prototyping som...

Re: Image Binding to Texture Source
Just realized I forgot to add that yes, IList did work.

Re: Image Binding to Texture Source
You're right that the IEnumerable, especially with the Linq query in it, wouldn't be efficient. That said, you guys very explicitly put in your docs that this is supposed to mimic WPF, and any deviation should be considered a bug. IEnumerable is kind of the foundational collective type in XAML. It's...

Image Binding to Texture Source
I also wasn't able to get Image binding to work to a TextureSource. <Grid> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <TextBlock Grid.Row="0" Text="{Binding OtherGamesTitle}" /> <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding...

Re: Integration with Unity / Blend Project
So I assume this means that you recommend not using x:Type information? I mean, yes usually with a Model-View-ViewModel approach, the ViewModel can, technically, be swapped out for another at design time. However, it's worth noting that in WPF/UWP style XAML, and especially in more modern XAML like ...

Integration with Unity / Blend Project
For Unity, a really great way to represent data objects is ScriptableObject. This is especially true if the Data Objects aren't changing over the course of the runtime. However, I've run into issues with the way that Noesis splits things up into the Blend project. For the Blend project, none of the ...

Re: Invalid License in Sample Gallery
Ah, got it.
The way it only came up after a random amount of time made me think it was some kind of bug haha.
Thanks!

Invalid License in Sample Gallery
After downloading and building the sample gallery for x64/UWP, if I click around for a while, eventually the screen goes blank with just the message "invalid license" in the middle of it.
Kind of makes the sample gallery awkward to use.
