Best practices for embedding a 3D model into a full-screen Noesis UI

31 Jan 2026, 15:17

Hello,

I’m currently working on a full-screen UI window built with Noesis GUI and would like to embed a live 3D model inside this interface (for example, a object preview as part of the UI). Before committing to a specific approach, I wanted to ask if there are any recommended best practices for this kind of setup. In particular:
* Are there preferred or officially supported ways to integrate a real-time 3D render into a Noesis-based UI?
* Are there any architectural patterns you recommend (for example, render-to-texture workflows, layering strategies, or camera/UI synchronization)?
* Do you have any sample projects, demos, or documentation sections that showcase similar use cases?

My goal is to keep the UI fully responsive and performant while cleanly integrating the 3D content into the layout. Any guidance or references would be greatly appreciated.

We do support binding TextureRenderTarget2D objects as ImageSources. We do not have any samples that take advantage of that feature, though.

Synchronization should be taken care of if you're using a SceneCapture component, since rendering of those happens during Scene rendering, before UI rendering. Resource barriers are also automatically added to transition the texture from a render target view to a shader resource view.
