Noesis GUI usage other than game UI
Hey, about the GUI framework usage, is there anyone adventurous enough that he tried to create a program user interface with Noesis GUI? I am so tempted to do that for my game engine world editor...
Re: Noesis GUI usage other than game UI
While several clients use NoesisGUI for standard desktop applications, the best example is actually our own Noesis Studio, it is built 100% with NoesisGUI!
It proves the framework is perfect for the complex, data-heavy UIs you need for a world editor.
If you take the plunge, a few big perks to keep in mind:

- Noesis Studio is part of the SDK. The standalone Studio tool is provided with source code as an integration example. Furthermore, if your license includes full source code access, you get the complete source code for Studio as well. You can see exactly how we built it and use it as a foundation.
- Our license allows you to distribute customized versions of Studio directly to your player base. Several upcoming games are already doing this to power their modding communities.

Hi! Dorian here! Just wanted to chime in as well! :)
My very first NoesisGUI project was actually working with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge, creating an application for use in a laboratory setting. It was a super cool and unique use-case that allowed researchers to launch participants (who were connected to a bioradio) into Unreal Engine-based VR experiences, and to monitor all of their biofeedback in real-time on a NoesisGUI-powered dashboard.
There's not a lot out in the public, but to give you an idea of what I'm talking about:
and there's an article here that covers some of the research work, that somewhat features the app in the background 😁

It ended up being such a transformative and positive experience for me personally, that I've essentially not done anything but Noesis UI development since then, eventually leading to joining the team here and going even deeper into the tech.
I'm hugely biased of course, but I did want to give it a glowing endorsement for usage outside of commercial gaming applications too!
