noesis:RegularPolygon not supported in Noesis but available in Studio?
Heya,
We've started using Noesis Studio to author UI in our engine. We were very excited to see we could use Star and RegularPolygon shapes. However, when we created a control with the RegularPolygon shape from Studio and tried to run it in-engine Noesis started throwing errors in the Debug Console that <noesis:RegularPolygon> is not a supported element. Is this a case of something that can be done in Studio but is not yet supported in Noesis itself?

Hello!
The extensions RegularPolygon, Star, MathConverter, RadialBorder, and others are implemented in the 'App/Toolkit' package. Currently, this package is only available in the Studio branch. If you want to use it in a runtime environment, you'll need to manually add it to your code.
Please, let us know if you need help with this.

Re: noesis:RegularPolygon not supported in Noesis but available in Studio?
Hey, is 'Component' also an element that's just part of Studio currently? I tried importing the Ombra sample that comes with Studio into Unreal, but it errors and fails to find any xaml dependencies.
Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm new to both WPF/XAML and Noesis & Studio.
(NoesisGUI-UE5.3-3.2.4, Studio 0.0.128-alpha)
I was interested to test how shared components with separate xamls are usually loaded.Unknown element type 'Component'

Yes, 'Component' is not yet available in the stable version of Noesis. Currently, it is being developed in a separate branch. If this feature is critical for you, please let me know, and I will explore the possibility of providing a version of 'Component' compatible with Noesis 3.2.X.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Unfortunately this is still not available in the latest runtime (3.2.7).
Could you please create a ticket about this?

Re: noesis:RegularPolygon not supported in Noesis but available in Studio?
Sorry to bring up an old post but we're running into this as well. Our UI artist is excited to use features that are in the App/Toolkit package, we're looking for ways to add support to the runtime somehow. Would be interested in some clarification about what we need to do for thatThe extensions RegularPolygon, Star, MathConverter, RadialBorder, and others are implemented in the 'App/Toolkit' package. Noesis 4.0.0 (currently in release candidate) comes with runtimes supporting all these extensions.

Does XAMLToy support the extensions needed for RegularPolygon?
