UE4 plugin 3.1.2 missing modules

20 Feb 2022, 23:24

Okay, I am an artist and I found this great resource: NoesisGUI.

So I downloaded the UE4 plugin 3.1.2 from the website. The download extracts as:

NoesisGUI-UE4.27-3.1.2-Indie

So I installed into my:

Shared/UE_4.27/Engine/Plugins/Marketplace

However when I try to enable it, through installed plugins, I get this error:

Missing Modules:

NoesisRuntime
NoesisBlueprint
NoesisEditor

As I said, I am an artist, not a programmer and I should not have to be worrying about compiling source codes, etc.

So what should I do to get this great resource working on my Macbook Pro?

Thank you for responding.

Hello,

Could you please try to install the plugin locally in your project? It should be able to compile the plugin modules just fine that way.
We only provide the plugin precompiled for Windows, that is why it doesn't work if you install it as an engine plugin in Mac.

Hi to sfernandez.

Thanks for your directions.

I did as you suggested and the UE4 Editor recognised the Noesis plugin intalled inside the project folder.

I was then asked if I wanted the files to be recompiled, and after enabling the Noesis plugin I restarted the UE4 Editor, and now I have the plugin installed.

So now comes the fun part.

Thanks for your help.
