Newbie first contact problem
Sorry, I am really newbie to Noesis Studio. Could please anybody help me to understand what is wrong?
I've created very simple page in Noesis studio. Just Transaprent Page, then Transparent Grid, and then just simple button.
Then, I've created Style for button. Just style, no edit. Created in GlobalResources.
Imported into Unreal. Configured path to Global resources. In Plugin Settings. Played Level, and the button is purple. (I do not know why, but I am unable to attach scrrenshot from UE). But it is always purple, no matter what I am doing. Please can somebody help me out?
Thanks

Hello,
This is a fair question and not related to your inexpirience with Noesis, mostly because we're not comunicating correctly what is happening in Studio regarding the default styles.
In Studio we are internally setting the NoesisTheme.DarkBlue.xaml (you can find it in NoesisGUI plugin for Unreal), so whenever you drag a control (like a Button) to the stage, it renders with a valid/usable template. On top of that you can define your own styles and templates and store them in the GlobalResources.xaml and that is what you see in Studio.
To have exactly the same environment in Unreal you will have to set as the Application Resources a dictionary like this:
Could you try this?

Re: Newbie first contact problem
Perfect. It works. Thanks a lot for this information. Now I have another question, if I may.
Here is picture of my gui: A (focused state - green stroke around), B, C,D are basically just buttons. Clicking each of them changes area on the right half according to which button is pressed. This works.
"Ac" button in right bottom corner is switching A,B,C,D, and A area ON and OFF. basically making it visible/invisible.
But, the problem is I am losing focused state on A button, when pressing "Ac". Hiding and unhiding whole area with "Ac" makes A button lost focus. I can understand this is correct behavior. But I neeed to keep focused visual state on button A. I can imagine some interactivity rule : If "A area" IsVisible, then A button is in focused state. Similarly when "B area" Is Visible, then B button is in focused state. But I do not know how to do it. Can you please give me a clue?
Thanks a lot
