Possible to Author on OS X?

14 Feb 2015, 19:53

I mostly use Unity on OSX. I am wondering if it is possible to start my project on OS X, Generate the XAML/WPF using Blender on Windows... then bring it to OSX where I author the project in Unity... and then use something like InkScape to make changes or go back to Windows to use Blend?

I can also use a VM like parallels to run it as well. I'd like to stay authoring on my MacBook Pro as much as I can.

Any suggestions?

about a cheap solution to author XAML content using Blend directly in OS X. Maybe it could apply to your requirements.

Anyway, remember that XAML files are just plain text that you can modify with any text editor. So you can export with InkScape your vector shapes to XAML code, and then copy the paths to the XAML file your are working on. Finally see the results in Unity or our XamlPlayer.
