64-bits, Lua, & Sourcecode

04 Apr 2013, 15:15

Hi Noesis Team!

Your engine seems awesome! :)

We would be very intersted in using such a solution for our 3D application. However we have a few requirements.

We need a GUI engine with
  • 64-bits compaptibility
  • source-code available
  • Lua binding
Does NeosisEngine fullfill these conditions?

Thanks!
  • 64-bits builds won't be in v1.0 (we have to stop at one point and release it, sorry). But it will be included in next releases 1.x, so you wont have to pay again. In fact, our expectation is being developing 1.x for a year. What is your target platform?
  • Yes, there are licensing with source code. Read the licensing post (sticky). With that option you can probably try compiling a 64 bits binary yourself. We could give you support.
  • No Lua bidings, only c# for now. But writing a simple wrapper to c functions should be very easy. If you dont want complex thing like extending components, data binding, etc it should be easy.

What a pity! I'm also expecting a 64-bit version.
