| Summary | 0003514: Path Point Handles Do Not Move With Path Points When Moved With Keyboard | ||||
| Description | We currently have two interaction models at play when editing the Path Points of a Path with the Path Selection Tool (A): 1) With the Mouse, when you click and drag a Path Point, it moves the Path Point Handles alongside it. Figma, Illustrator, and Affinity Designer all use the first model where no matter if you move the Path Point with the Mouse, or with the Keyboard ArrowKeys, the Path Point Handles will move alongside it. (This is potentially to-be-discussed further though.) | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Repro Steps: 1) Create a Page Observe that both the Path Point, and the joined Path Point Handles move in-sync across the canvas. 6) With the Path Selection Tool (A), Ctrl+Click on another corner of the rectangle to convert it to a curve. Observe how the path Point moves without the Path Point Handles, which stay in the same position. Expected Results: Both moving a Path Point by Mouse, or by Keyboard ArrowKeys produces the same interaction. | ||||
