Summary0003862: Older Studio Are Unable To have Project References Added
Description

Currently, it appears as though Noesis Studio Projecs beyond a certain age are incapable of importing external Studio Projects.

I have been unable to determine at which version exactly Importing began being possible, but there appears to be no correlation between age of the Imported Project and ability to import. Instead, it appears moreso to be related to the version in which the Project being imported into was created.

For example, using Ombra as the imported Project, created around June 2024:

  • Ombra CANNOT be imported into Z3L (Created January 2024)

  • Ombra CANNOT be imported into Stratus (October 2024)

  • Ombra CAN be imported into Chicane (December 2024)

  • Onbra CAN be imported into a fresh/brand new project

Steps To Reproduce

Repro Steps:

1) Open the Z3L, Stratus, and Chicane from the InternalProjects GitHub, and also create a brand new fresh Studio project.
2) Within each Project, navigate to the Assets Panel, hover over the Root folder, press the (+), and select "Add Project Reference".
3) For each Project, add the Ombra project as the imported/referenced Project.

Observe how the external 'Ombra' Project successfully imports into the new project, and Chicane.
Observe how the external 'Ombra' Project fails to import into Z3L and Stratus.

Expected results: Any Studio project can have an external project imported into it regardless of when it was created in time.
