Summary0004255: DataTemplates without a root element cannot have one added
Description

If you enter edit mode for a data template and it doesn't have a root element one cannot be added. This can occur in at least 2 cases:

  1. Create a new data template, then delete the default Grid element
  2. Create a new data template for a newly created data structure in the Data tab, and the template will be created, but without any kind of Panel.

Thank you for the report, I have fixed the issue with being unable to being unable to add a root element to DataTemplates.

I have been unable to reproduce your second case, a new data template for a newly created data structure in the Data tab having no Panel. Is this still occurring for you, can you give me more detail on how to reproduce?

We're unable to reproduce this issue today. If we hit it again we can open a new ticket with more specific repro steps.
