| Description | Currently, when you double-click a .noesis Project file, the Studio desktop application successfully opens (albeit in a non-functional state) (Attached image) This is the only instance I have ever encountered of an Application's Project File not opening in its/an application when double-clicking on it, and I strongly suspect many users will have the same expectations. This exception in file handling compared to almost all other desktop applications could possibly be misinterpreted as being broken for users not aware of the Launcher method. | ||||

I was able to set up opening I simply used the standard Windows procedure: “Open with...”. Noesis isn’t doing anything special here, apart from supporting the launch of Studio with a project path: I’ve verified that this works correctly, and that’s the only part Noesis controls. Everything else is handled by Windows. |

After further investigation, this appears to be an issue that only occurs in Windows 11. Everything works as expected in Win 10. It is however worth noting that I was able to get other portable apps to function as desired/described, so there may be possibly a way to resolve this once we get a better understand of the root issue. |

One user was able to make this work without issue in Windows 11, so disregard the previous theory. |
