Summary0004400: Method to Create Guidelines On A Per-Page Basis
Description

This is a proposal for us to implement manually-set Guidelines in Noesis Studio.

This feature comes in two parts:

1) SCREEN RULERS
a) Visible at the Top, and Left of the Stage Window, featuring pixel measurements.
b) These Rulers should be hidden/displayed via a [Ctrl]+[R] Toggle. (Same as in Illustrator and Photoshop)

2) SCREEN GUIDELINES

a) These Guides should be settable and saved at a per-document (and not a per-Project basis). The guides are conserved in between Studio sessions of the same file.

b) Guides are introduced into a Page by clicking-and-dragging the mouse from either the Top or Left Ruler.

c) Guides are placed based on document pixel-distance from the Top or Left Edge.

d) Guides are removed by clicking-and-dragging them off of the Stage (including dragging them onto either the Top or Left Ruler)

e) Guides that have been introduced can be moved to a different position at any time by clicking and dragging the ones already on the Stage.

f) Guides should each feature and adorner that features the ability to hand-type their position, and/or to change whether their origin is based on distance from Left or Right of the Stage for Vertical guides, or from Top or Bottom of the Stage for Horizontal guides. The adorner also features the ability to Delete the Guide as an alternate to dragging the Guide off the Stage.

g) Guides can have their visibility hidden or displayed via a [Ctrl+[;] toggle.

h) Guides should be considered 'snappable', in that Elements, Path Points, and/or Path Handles should snap to Verteces and/or Intersections of Guides present on-Stage.

References from both Photoshop and Blend attached.
We are essentially targetting replicating what Blend does, with the major exception being the Keyboard Shortcuts.
(Blend uses Ctrl+4 to Toggle Rulers, whereas we will be doing Ctrl+R | Blend uses Ctrl+5 to Toggle Guide Visibility, whereas we will be doing Ctrl+;)

Please let me know once this is implemented, as I'll have to update our Shortcuts Documentation.
