Currently, in instances where a Path Point, and its Handles are at the exact same coordinates, it can be incredibly difficult to manipulate the desired Point or Handle.

This can be seen in the attached PointOrHandle_Compressed.mp4 in which I repeatedly do the same operation repeatedly (Deselect Path, and click on Point with Path Selection Tool [A].) It seems random, and I'm unable to determine the pattern here. Sometimes it selects the Path Point, sometimes the Path Handles.

We discussed in a meeting that essentially Path Points should always be hierarchically drawn above Handles: therefore in instances like this of positional conflict, the Path Point is always the one selected.

And in these instances, where there is a desire to select the Path Handles, the [Ctrl] + Click-and-Drag action should be used to manipulate the Handles without touching the Path Point.

In the second video 'PathHandleAboveVertex_Demonstration.mp4' an example can be seen where the inability to select the Path Point can be problematic, and forces the user to 'move the Handles out of the way' first to then be able to move the Path Point.
