| Summary | 0004726: When In Play Mode, No Notice Is Given For Why Certain Elements of Studio's UI Can't Be Interacted With | ||||
| Description | Currently, when in Play Mode [Ctrl+P], certain parts of the Studio application interface can be interacted with (eg: switching Function Panel tabs, Adding Resources, Editing Data Set values, etc...). However, there are also certain parts of the Interface that are disabled (eg: Add Elements Panel, Interactivity Pane, etc...) Currently, these 'uninteractable' items are signalled to the user by not being given hover states. However, as this is somewhat subtle, sometimes its possible to not realise the interface is in Play Mode, and these uninteractable items can appear as non-functioning. Therefore, we may want to consider adding a red Toast Notification when these uninteractable items are clicked or click-and-dragged, which could read: [Toast Title]: Selection can't be made whilst playing | ||||
