| Summary | 0004786: Assets Browser Files Don't Have Alphabetical Ordering Enforced Until After Application Restart | ||||
| Description | Currently, when you create new files in the Assets Panel, they are populated in their directory listing in the order they were created in/moved into the folder in. However, when restarting the application, they are ordered in Alphabetical order. Without the ability to manually sort Assets in the Assets Panel, the Alphabetical ordering should take effect prior to an application restart, as to provide the user with predictable results. Repro Steps: 1) Create a Studio Project featuring a MainPage.xaml Observe how within the /root directory, the Pages are not listed in Alphabetical order. 4) Save all documents, and restart the application. Observe how in the Assets Panel, the Pages are now listed in an order different than prior to the restart, and are now listed Alphabetically. Expected Results: Assets are always listed Alphabetically. | ||||
