| Summary | 0004915: Applying New Data Set Doesn't Immediately Update Binding Readouts | ||||
| Description | Currently, if a new Data Set is applied to a Page, any currently-selected Elements that contain will continue to display the Property Value Readouts of the previous Data Set instead of the one active on-Stage. See attached video. Repro Steps: 1) Open the DashMoto Sample, and Navigate to the Data Panel. 2) Select the TextBlock of the large Speedometer number in the centre of the Stage. 3) Observe how its Text Value is displaying a value in the yellow outline. Make a mental note of it. 4) In the Data Panel, create a new Data Set for the ViewModel, and make all of its values '0'. 5) With the TextBlock Element still selected, apply the new Data Set created in Step 4. Observe how the UI on-Stage has updated to the new Data Set, but the TextBlock's Binding readout still displays the value from the previous Data Set. Expected Results: When a Data Set is active, all readouts on both the Stage, and value in the Properties Panel immediately reflect the data fed to it. | ||||
