| Summary | 0004994: Merged Resource Dictionaries That Are Renamed Appear As Available To Merge Again | ||||
| Description | Currently, if you have a Dictionary that is merged into another one, and you rename the merged Dictionary, it will appear as mergeable evenn if its already merged. This issue persists until Studio is restarted. See attached video. Repro Steps: 1) Create a Studio Project featuring a MainPage.xaml 2) From the Assets Panel, create a Resource Dictionary, and give it a custom name. 3) From the Resources Panel, merge the Dictionary created in Step 2) into the GlobalResources Dictionary. 4) From the Assets Panel, rename the Dictionary created in Step 2). 5) Return to the Resources Panel. 6) Hover over the GlobalResourcesDictionary, press the (+) icon to merge a dictionary. Observe how the Dictionary created in Step 2) is available to select from, even if it is already merged into GlobalResources. 7)) Save all open documents, and restart studio. 8) Repeat Step 6). Observe how now the merged Dictionary is not available to merge. Expected Results: Dictionaries already merged, are not available to merge again. | ||||
