| Summary | 0005089: Studio Unreal Missing I-Beam Cursor During Inline Text Edits | ||||
| Description | Currently, TextBlocks can be double-clicked, and a sub-section of the text within can be highlighted (to for example, create a Run). In Standalone, this 'highlighting' state is given a special 'i-beam' cursor to represent this function. However, in Studio Unreal, the cursor does not change when in text-highlighting mode. See attached video comparing Standalone to Studio Unreal. Repro Steps: 1) Create any Studio Unreal Project containing a MainPage.xaml, and introduce a TextBlock to the MainPage root. 2) Change the TextBlock's 'Text' to be made up of more than 1 word. 3) Double-click on the TextBlock on the Stage to edit 'Text Edit' mode, and click-and-drag the cursor to make character selections. Observe how the cursor doesn't change when put into Text Editing mode. Expected Results: When in inline Text Editing Mode, the mouse cursor is changed into an i-Beam to match its behaviour in Studio Standalone. | ||||
