| Summary | 0005305: Generating Sample Data Collapses Data Properties | ||||
| Description | In the past, when you would expand all of the Data Properties of a Data Set, and ran a Sample Data Generation, all of the Properties would remain open, allowing you to see the results of the Data Generation immediately. In recent versions (~310+), generating Sample Data collapses any open Data Properties Panel that were previously open in the Data Set. See attached video. Repro Steps: 1) Open the MiniShowcases Project in the InternalProjects GitHub, and open the 'DataGeneration.xaml' sample. 2) Navigate to the Data Panel, and identify the Data Set being used to populate the map, then select it to open its Data Set Properties Panel. 3) In the top-right of the Properties Panel, use the 'Expand All' button to expand all Data Properties in the Data Set. 4) In the Data Set's Properties Panel, click the 'Generate Sample Data' button. Observe how the Generate Sample Data action collapses all expanded Properties in the Data Set Properties Panel. Expected Results: Generating Sample Data conserves the expanded/collapsed state of the Data Set Properties. | ||||
