VM instance bound to a UI element is not destroyed even after the bind target is nulled.

So we have a code like this xaml <Grid> <ContentControl Content="{Binding CurrentItem}" /> </Grid> C++ class ItemVM : public BaseComponent, public INotifyPropertyChanged { ... } class BindingCollectionVM : public BaseComponent, public INotifyPropertyChanged { public: Ptr<ItemVM> m_item = MakePtr<Ite...

Re: ContextMenu and Tooltip stays unclosed even when the window is deactivated

Thanks. I filed the issue here: https://www.noesisengine.com/bugs/view.php?id=1438

Yes, the workaround is working as far as I can tell (I am sending LButtonDown at -1,-1).
But, isn't it dangerous to send fake mouse event, because it may interfere with the real events ?

ContextMenu and Tooltip stays unclosed even when the window is deactivated

Hi,

When we show ContextMenu or Tooltip, and we click other window (thus deactivating the current Noesis window), the ContextMenu or Tooltip stays afloat (not closed).

Is there any way to fix this behavior ?

thanks.

Re: [c++]How do you draw a line on a canvas in Noesis that is 1 pixel thick

Hi, I think the problem is with the anti-aliasing. Our integration layer (which is also used by tkawa) is using MSAA (PPAA is disabled) for anti-aliasing and it caused the problem that thin lines appear to be blurred. Disabling MSAA fixed the problem, but at the cost of anti-aliasing in other parts....

Re: Question about scaling a large UI

Noesis supports "virtualization" for ListView/ListBox as in WPF that should take care your concern.

I was having trouble when showing ~100k rows before, but the Noesis team has already fixed it.

Re: SIMD instructions used by NoesisGUI

Ok thanks. Our software is currently requiring SSE2 capable CPUs so NoesisGUI just perfectly matched that.

What kind of SIMD instructions are currently used by NoesisGUI on Intel Platform ?

Re: Indexer property for data binding with C++ API

I see.

I have further a question. Is it possible to use enum as an index for binding ?

Something like
<TextBlock Text="{Binding A.B.SomeIndexer[MyEnum.Test]}"/>
Thanks.
