Noesis Studio with Linux (Fedora)
Hi Noesis Team, I love Noesis Studio and I am so happy to see that you have it on the agenda to implement Linux support for Noesis Studio. I cannot get the beta (exe) to work with wine on Linux so far. I just wonder how you want to provide Noesis Studio for Linux? I really hope being able to use it ...

Re: BackgroundEffects in Noesis Studio
Mh, confusing. I see your xaml example goes to 80 and looks really blurry, that is kind of what I hoped for. Mine stops at a radius of 10 to have an effect. It just gets darker. Here blur radius of 5: Blur 5.png Here blur radius of 20: Blur 20.png Here blur radius of 100: Blur 100.png And here a blu...

Re: BackgroundEffects in Noesis Studio
Hey Dorian, This is genius. Thank you for this little Tutorial. I love how easy it is to create the blur effect. For a quick prototype, I am pretty impressed with the results. I am curious how performant it is when used more often. Screenshot 2025-04-01 145649.png The only thing I would like additio...

BackgroundEffects in Noesis Studio
Hey,
I try to blur parts of my background in Noesis Studio. I would like the rectangle shown in the attached picture to blur the background image. I just can't figure out how to get this done in Noesis Studio. How is that to be done?
Thanks for the help.

Re: Implementing LayeredUI example with Studio and Unity
Hey Jesus, thanks for the solution. It works! That's the life of a programmer: You spend hours (or days) in solving a "problem" that actually takes 2 seconds to be solved. puuhh. I created a ticket for this minor issue, so that you can keep track of it: https://www.noesisengine.com/bugs/vi...

9. In the Content property of the ContentControl I bind the BottomContentViewModel Screenshot 2025-02-09 162743.png After that I tested the functionality and it didn't work. So I digged into the XAML and figured out that the code is not equal the code presented int he LayerUI example. The DataTempla...

Re: Use a different DataContext (Data Set) for Components
Hey sfernandez, thanks for the explanations. My question was more intended to be towards your first part of the answer, when the component is used as a classical UserControl. I just tried to stick to the possibilities Studio provided so far. In my use-case I divide my Overlay UI into three parts and...

Use a different DataContext (Data Set) for Components
Hey, I am trying to figure that our for some hours now. But I only run into crashes of Noesis or it just doesn't work at all. I try to set up a second ViewModel for my component. So I go to the Data Panel and add a new Structure. In the Structure I add a Data Set and add a boolean value called "...

Re: Intended Project Structure (For Global Styling)
Hey, Just an additional question to this. I hope it is okay that I just post it here instead of opening a new topic. I am working on a UI heavy Grand Strategy game. The project has a lot of User Interfaces components. Performance wise can I have everything created in components and then nested in on...
