Making Noesis navigation work with Rewired

We are using Rewired [1] for input which uses a different event system than Noesis.
We're wondering how to make this work with Noesis so that one can navigate using a gamepad (keyboard works).

We were thinking about having a script that reacts to the rewired events and then triggers the respective events in Noesis.
Can't find how to do that, though. Or is there a proper way to make Rewired work with Noesis?

Nevermind, we found it: use the rewired input override [1]
