The type 'NoesisWorldUI' exists in both 'Noesis.NoesisGUI, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'
Hi,
I am trying to run this example https://github.com/Noesis/Tutorials/tre ... rldSpaceUI on a Meta Quest 2 device but I am getting the following error.
The type 'NoesisWorldUI' exists in both 'Noesis.NoesisGUI, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' and 'Assembly-CSharp, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'
Any suggestions on how I can resolve this?
Thank you

Re: The type 'NoesisWorldUI' exists in both 'Noesis.NoesisGUI, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'
Has anyone had any success in running a sample (or a Unity project that uses Noesis GUI) on a Meta Quest 2 Device?

It seems the GitHub example is outdated. Could you please try the example included in the Unity package itself?

Hi,
I tried the example "World Space UI (Legacy Pipeline)" in the Unity Package and I am able to view it on a Meta Quest 2 Device and navigate around the Scene but I am still trying to figure out how to trigger the display of Noesis UI. I tried using all the controls on the Meta Quest 2 controllers but I am not able to see any Noesis UI.
Any idea as to what triggers the display of Noesis UI?
Thank you

You should see UI without triggering anything. Have you tried the example in the editor first? Do you see the UI?

Hi,
I see the Noesis GUI when I turn off World UI flag, but I need to control where and when the UI is displayed in the Virtual World;
1) Is it the recommended way to use this flag to control when I can display the UI in the Virtual World?
2) The UI appears flat in the VR Head Set, but how can I make it appear ONLY on a Virtual Object like a Virtual Screen i.e. how can I make the UI align on a Virtual Object.
Thank you

So, when you hit PLAY in the editor for this scene, what do you see? Could you please attach a screenshot?

Hi,
The way it appears in the Unity Editor is a little weird, so I am attaching a snapshot of how it looks in the VR Head set.
As I've mentioned in my previous post, the Noesis UI is only displayed when World Space UI is turned off

That's not our example :)
Could you please install the example included in the package (from the package manager) and hit play in the editor? I want to verify that at least the basic things are working on your computer.
You need to go to the Package Manager => NoesisGUI => Examples => Samples => World Space UI Legacy

Hi,
I'm working on the same example that you've suggested in an earlier post. Please see below.
