I tried the Unity NineSlice Example.
Out of the box, I am getting spacings between some parts. Are there settings that I am missing?

This was not the expected result and I was able to reproduce it too, so nothing wrong on your setup.
Could you please report it in our bugtracker and we will take a look on what is going on?
