Tooltip open event is called twice on mobile platforms
Hi, I'm having a problem displaying a tooltip through the tooltipService, when I hold down the element, the open and close events are called quickly, which causes a flicker and then the open event is called again after a short period of time and the tooltip is displayed correctly.
This only happens when we simulate mobile devices and when we build on the Android platform.
I tried disabling all the NoesisView inputs except touch but the result is the same.
Is there any way to avoid the flickering? maybe some configuration that we don't know about?
Edit: I'm using noesisGUI + Unity.

Re: Tooltip open event is called twice on mobile platforms
Hi,
Current ToolTip implementation is based on mouse inputs only, so when using touch devices it only behaves "as expected" if you press the finger in the screen and then move the finger over the control without releasing it (like if it was a mouse moving). This is a known issue we haven't fixed yet: #2846
It wasn't addressed because many clients use their own tool tip system based on Popups, but we should definitely provide a standard mechanism for ToolTips under touch events (something that follows UWP behavior in this case). I'm going to include this ticket for the next release so we can investigate how to solve it.
