What are the chances of getting Vulkan support under Linux? (As far as I can tell, this doesn't currently work.)

Is this still planned for the next version? I would highly value it. (We dev on Linux and being able to run in Vulkan would mean I don't have to switch to a windows machine to frame debug + we can ship linux native on steam).
