In WPF, I can use the TextTrimming property on a TextBlock. If the text is too long to fit in its container, an ellipsis (...) will be shown.

E.g. <TextBlock Text="A long text" TextTrimming="CharacterEllipsis"/>

This is currently not supported in NoesisGUI. Does somebody have any idea how to work around this, or when this feature can be expected?

Having been requested several times let me see if we can add it to the next minor release (1.1.8). In fact there is a ticket for it in the bugtracker. We should probably make public that database. That way everybody can get a better global idea of features and bugs being detected.
