Unity5 x64

14 Mar 2015, 17:16

Hi guys, It took me a little to find a comment in the forums saying that the 1.2 does only support the Unity5 x86. As I did not find it in the release notes, is that true? in case yes, when do you plan to release the x64 support? (just we can plan it as we are in the process to migrate to Unity 5).

Currently we are dealing with this kind of weird errors...

Exception: LoadLibrary
Assets/Editor/NoesisGUI/BuildTool/Noesis.dll
Noesis.Library..ctor (System.String filename) (at Assets/Plugins/NoesisGUI/Scripts/Core/NoesisLibrary.cs:48)

Hi! The developers responded to my question about x64 Unity Editor support in this topic viewtopic.php?f=3&t=595&start=30 In short, answer is no, but they're working on it. Also the current release (1.2.0) is not supporting Unity 5 out of the box - you need to deal with API upgrade (which in my case required some manual fixing) and assign proper architecture bindings on the native plugins.

Hi, yep that's the comment in the forum I was talking about ^_^ what I have no clear is if there is any x86 Unity5 Editor version as the one you can get from Unity web is the x64 one.

Thus, what we really need to know is an estimation from developers about when the support will be ready, just for us to make a little planning ^_^. I learned that it will be after they come from the GDC so I think it will be soon more or less.

thanks anyway!
